MICROBLADING

What is Microblading ?

For people with thin eyebrows looking for what some consider to be a semi-permanent fill, microblading might be an option. Here is what you need to know about this new trend, including facts.

An esthetician uses a microblade tool to apply color pigments that look like real hairs. The color effect will fade over time, so touch-ups may be necessary to maintain the desired look.

Microblading is said to offer natural looking and defined eyebrows, but the process typically takes some time to perfect.

The initial procedure may take up to a couple of hours, and the eyebrows will appear darker immediately after the initial treatment.

It is possible that the color will fade after a few weeks and a touch-up may be needed.

Fast facts on microblading:

1-The process involves using a hand-held microblade tool with needles.

2-Microblading involves breaking into the skin, and infections are possible if untrained people practice under unhygienic conditions.

3-The success of the microblading procedure will depend on the person performing it.

 NANO BROWS

What are Nano Brows?

Nano Brow is designed for those who are eager to improve the look of their brows, but without having that penciled-on result that many alternatives can achieve. This treatment utilizes a special Nano Needle that draws on each individual hair so it emulates real eyebrow hair. This is what makes it look so natural.

Each treatment will begin with first determining the exact shape and style that you want. Then the eyebrows are drawn on using a removable pencil, initially. Since this step is the most important one, it takes the longest. When you’re dealing with your eyebrows, you want them done right, so it’s important to be patient during this process. This step alone should take at least an hour.

Once the application of the temporary pencil is complete, you will be given a topical cream to numb the area to reduce any sensation, along with an aesthetic. Then the Nano Needle is used. Overall, you can expect the treatment to be relatively painless.

Why do I need it ?

The reason why Nano Brow has become one of the most sought-after treatments today is due to the fact that it’s a semi-permanent treatment. So aside from being able to enjoy the results and your new brows immediately after the treatment, you can swim, rub, sweat and they won’t be affected. You can expect the full healing process to take between 25 to 30 days, but this may differ for individuals. It’s also recommended to hop in for a quick 40-minute touch up after the first month.

If you’re unsatisfied by the look of your eyebrows but hate the process of apply traditional methods that don’t look natural and rub off, then try Nano Brow. It’s the best solution available today for finally enjoying natural-looking brows that feel natural and won’t rub off.

OMBRE BROWS

What are Ombre Brows?

Ombré eyebrows—also known as ombré powder eyebrows—refers to a semi-permanent method of shading the brow to perfect their shape, fill in sparse areas, and create a gradient effect.

What’s the difference between microblading and Ombré brows? Well, while microblading involves hand-carving small lines into the skin to deposit semi-permanent dye and create defined, hair-like strokes, the Ombré brows technique uses a machine to create pixelated dots that create a powder-like, shaded brow look that starts light at the front of your brows and transitions to being darker at the ends.

Since Ombré eyebrows are a newer technique, there is also less vetted information out there about them, whereas there is more you can read up on about microblading to help inform your decision if you’re interested in semi-permanent arches.

In what ways would you say it is better technology?

Shading technique is versatile as the technique can be performed alone as well as combining with microblading whether the client is looking for a subtle or bold brow. The retention and healing results tend to be better in comparison to microblading. In addition, clients with certain skin types are not the best candidates for microblading, whereas shading works on all skin types.

SEMI-PERMANENT EYELINER

 What is semi-permanent eyeliner?

If you’ve ever felt the high of nailing the perfect eyeliner application, you’ve also felt the soul-crushing low that comes with removing it at night, only to attempt the impossible all over again the next day. The solution? Permanent eyeliner. No, I don’t mean drawing your cat eye with a Sharpie marker as Taylor Swift. I’m talking about the semi-permanent makeup technique that replaces your everyday liner.

In short, a lash-enhancement  is a semi-permanent treatment that places pigment along your top or bottom lash lines (not your waterline). “The line itself can be super thick or as thin as your own natural lashes, and it doesn’t have a flick or extended tip.

In other words, whether you want a full-on flick, prefer a more diffused eyeshadow effect, or just want to enhance your lashes by filling in the gaps along your lash line an eyeliner line  might be the answer to your prayers..

How long does the eyeliner last?

Everyone’s skin is different so it greatly depends on your skin composition and your healing process. No guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit the same as another from this procedure. Eyeliner is implanting pigment into the basal layer of the epidermis, using fine, delicate passes.  Other factors that play a role in longevity are skin color, the pigment used, thickness of the lines, and how aggressive your immune system is in metabolizing the pigment.  Factors such as sun exposure, BOTOX, AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoic and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, or lightening the skin can cause your eyeliner to fade.
